In the enchanting realm of unlikely animal partnerships, a captivating tapestry of connections unfolds. Beyond the bounds of natural order, a world where cats share camaraderie with cattle, dogs engage in whimsical exchanges with birds, and kittens form endearing bonds with owls. This extraordinary symphony of interspecies companionship showcases the versatility and wonder of the animal kingdom.

In meadows and barnyards, the seemingly incongruous pairing of these different species creates scene after scene of adorable pictures. Cats find solace nestled among the gentle giants, while cattle display a surprising tolerance for their feline counterparts, and oversized dogs bond with tiny fawns. These contrasting creatures form a tender bond that illuminates the magic of acceptance. And amidst open fields to the confines of the average family living room, time and time again, these animals never fail to disappoint.

In this universe of peculiar pairings, the threads of connection remind us that friendship knows no boundaries, and that even the most improbable companions can find solace, joy, and understanding in each other’s company.

Feathered and Furry Friends

Now, in the adult world of cats and owls, these two would be bitter enemies with the cat hunting that owl like prey, and visa-versa. But in the young world of kittens and baby owls, there is nothing but love. Not only are they buddies, but they are so close as to be wrapped intimately together with a sense of peace and tranquility unmatched! These two display the beauty of companionship, reminding us that even different creatures can find comfort in each other’s presence.

It’s All About the Love

Isn’t there an expression somewhere, “Fighting like cats and dogs?” Well, someone forgot to tell these two who were caught in the act, cuddling and sharing warmth. You can imagine the cat purring softly, nestled against the dog’s side, who was probably wagged its tail in contentment. Side by side, they enjoy each other’s company, displaying the simple joy of companionship. This cat and dog pair shows the heartwarming bond that can develop between different animals, a reminder that friendship knows no species boundaries.

It’s a Doggy Horse World

This dog and two horses are snuggled together so affectionately that you just cannot look away. Everyone knows that dogs are a loyal and friendly companion, and these two horses absolutely love it! The horses, being the gentle giants that they are, just love to lower their heads and nuzzle the dog affectionately. This picturesque site is just so tranquil and peaceful, filled with the soothing sounds of their steady breaths and occasional soft whinnies, and this simple scene showcases the best in the innate ability of animals to find love and caring in each other’s presence.

David and Goliath

In a nose-to-nose rendezvous, a pocket-sized kitten and a towering horse engage in a comical “sniff-off.” The kitten’s dainty sniffs are like ticklish whispers, while the horse’s hearty exhales could topple a feather. With each snuggle-nose attempt, the kitten’s whiskers get a mini-horse massage, leaving the kitten in a twitchy whisker frenzy. The horse, trying to be dainty, ends up with hay hanging from its nose. Spectators can’t hold back the giggles as these mismatched snugglers create a hilarious symphony of sniffs and sneezes. It’s a nose-diving spectacle that proves that size differences only make cuddle encounters all the more amusing.

Separated at Birth

On a cozy blanket, a tiny piglet and a curious fawn park themselves, unintentionally matching spots. The piglet’s chubby rolls contrast the fawn’s spindly legs, creating a comical odd couple. The piglet rubs his nuzzle up into the side of the fawn while it looks forward, disinterested and probably thinking more about the next feeding time than the next play time with her new friend. You know you can’t help but grin, watching this accidental meeting of mismatched pals, proving that even in nature, the quirkiest pairings lead to the heartiest chuckles.

Snuggle Buddies

In the living room, a wee kitten and a fluffy bunny stage a snuggle showdown on the carpet. You can just imagine how the kitten’s playful pounces meet the bunny’s gentle hops, creating a hilarious hop-and-scurry spectacle. They flop down together, trying to out-cuddle each other, with the kitten’s whiskers getting tangled in the bunny’s fur. Their mismatched cuddle tactics would draw laughs from anyone around as they roll into a fluffy tangle of fur. Amidst this cozy chaos, it’s a furball frenzy that shows even different species can master the art of hilarious companionship, turning the living room into a haven of giggles.

A Very Content Couple

Picture this if you can. Out in the grassy range, a witty goat and a woolly sheep engage in a snuggle showdown. The goat’s horns inadvertently play hide-and-seek with the sheep’s fleece, while the sheep’s hooves try a clumsy tango with the goat’s nimble leaps. They cozy up, with the goat’s “baa” harmonizing oddly with the sheep’s “maa.” Passersby can’t help but chuckle as these two woolly characters turn the range into a snuggle-wrestling arena. It’s a hilarious hooves-and-horns affair that proves even on the open pasture, laughter knows no boundaries – and neither do these furry friends!

It’s Play Time!

Source: NeonGyllenhaal / Reddit

In the sprawling grass range, a goofy golden retriever and a wobbly baby fawn team up for play time. The dog’s overenthusiastic tail wags like crazy as the fawn tries in vein to snuggle up to the pooches snout. The retriever doesn’t quite know what to make of the fawn’s antics and takes a cautious and defensive stance. Their playful interaction turns into a wild chase between the two animals, making this a hilarious display of innocence and exuberance that turns the grassy area into an oversized playground for the pair.

All Tuckered Out From Herding Duties

Source: tofudearest / Reddit

Herding dogs like this one are a rare breed, known for their speed, agility and ability to corral an entire group of livestock and guide them anywhere their boss wants. If you’ve never really seen this, it’s an incredible sight. What’s even more impressive is that, as adults, these livestock tower over the much smaller dogs, but that doesn’t stop these intuitive herders from doing their job at the highest level! And believe it or not, it really only takes one or two of these little speed demons to corral an entire heard of animals with numbers in the 100’s without issue!

A Very Unusual Pairing

Source: bob_marley_goldenretriever / Instagram

Now I’ve seen a lot of unusual pairings before in my life, but this one absolutely takes the cake, or in this case, the hamburger. This proves that maybe the most magical thing about these two creatures is that they do not discriminate. When it comes to love and bonding, they will happily cuddle up to each other in a way that only indicates true love. Even though it would only take a second for this giant dog to gobble up this little bird as a snack, that is clearly the last thing on his mind, preferring to make this little feathered bird his live-long buddy.

I’ll Get That Flea For Ya!

Source: SigfriedandFreud / Reddit

Okay, it is pretty common knowledge that the pit bull has a reputation as being one of the meanest and most fierce animals on planet earth, They are built specifically for gripping their pray in their powerful jaws encased in a massing skull that just strikes fear into anyone who may dare cross their path. But that is simply not the case here. It seems that this pit bull, with his giant head, is really just a giant teddy bear and, of all possible animals, has decided to bond in the most adorable way with this little racoon. And the racoon is reciprocating by picking out any little fleas he may find from the top of that giant head!

Simply Adorable

Source: Smart_Honey / Reddit

It’s not often that you see a cat cuddling with baby calf, but that’s exactly what we have here. It is a strong probability that the cat is really a house cat that the owner lets run free out on the farm and in doing so, has made a couple of very close friends. It just goes to show that, which the exception of the great white shark or the ferocious lion, most animals can not only live in harmony together, but they also have the ability to bond with each other in a way not believed possible. Now if only humans can follow suit and bond in such a way with their fellow man?

I Got You Buddy

Source: Naifee / Reddit

Now I have no idea what happened here, but if I were to hazard a guess, I’d say that this little duck was abandoned by mommy and the rest of the family, and is now fending for herself out on the farm. And retrievers being retrievers, this dog has made the decision to not only bond with this abandoned little guy, he has adopted him and made him his own. And if you know anything about ducks, they are all about imprinting, which is the process where they will adopt and follow a particular animal, or even human, because they have “imprinted” them as their leader and mate. Isn’t nature just wonderful?

A Warm Spot

Source: TheRookieGetsACookie / Reddit

Now it’s not surprise that winters in the upper regions of the United States can get quite brutal. Whether it’s the bone chilling temperatures or the blinding snow, it’s just no fun being stuck out in the open in these parts. That is why it is just so cool to see these two very different animals, bonding through the magic of warmth. Now of course each of these magnificent creatures has developed, over time, the ability to not only deal with the harsh conditions in the place they call home, but to thrive in them. But, there is still something to be said for their desire to provide just a smidge of warmth to each other, making their time just a bit more comfortable

Help!

Source: TheRookieGetsACookie / Reddit

Now, if you just don’t laugh and say “awe” at the sight of these two, you are just not human. On this list, this may be the oddest of pairings while at the same time, hold the title as the most friggin cute picture in the history of modern photography! Just look at them. Between the big eyes of the pooch combined with the gaping beak of the duckling, you just have to smile! I just wonder how long it too the photographer get these two to pose in that position to actually grab up this photo? Impressive to say the least!

Just a Bit of Shade Please

Source: foxdna / Reddit

There are probably few things less pleasant for a dog than having to wear one of those plastic collars that go around their neck in an effort to keep them from licking or chewing on a wound that’s healing. And as is to be expected, their arch rival, the cat, will find yet another way to antagonize them. Such is the case with this particular feline that has found that she can get both affection and a bit of shade all from a pooch. Now in this photo, the dog doesn’t really seem to mind the cat’s company, but you know he would prefer to be without that collar. With that said, in the end, he might just keep the cat around.

Racoon Love

Source: CryptoExodus / Reddit

This photo is adorable on so many levels. To begin, you’ve got this racoon with the loving embrace of this tiny dog. Secondly, you’ve got the look on the dog’s face or content and satisfaction. Like he’s saying to himself, “This is the best hug I’ve ever gotten and I’m just so at peace right now!” And you’ve also got the expression on the racoon’s face, one of pure caring and love as she squeezes tightly and buries her head into the back of the puppy! If this doesn’t put a huge smile on your face, then I just don’t know what to tell you!

A Very Spoiled Cat

Source: sevendevilsdelilah / Reddit

Everybody knows that cats rule the world, right? It’s not like they will come to you on command much like a dog does, they will come to you when they are good and ready to come to you. It’s not like they will let you carry them around much like a dog would, you will be fortunate if they even let you pick them up no less carry them around. And when they do want attention, they will get it, and get it, and get it, much like this cat who has decided that this giant dog should be her own personal pillow so that she might relax to her heart’s content.

Can We Help You?

Source: aimazing-27 / Reddit

Here is yet another example of just how different species from completely different worlds have the ability to gather together in an intimate space as one unit. Of course we know that the two on the left are of the marsupial kind. In other words, they are baby kangaroos who are raised in the pouch of their mothers until they are almost fully grown which explains why they are wrapped up in those cute little blankets. And of course the cat only needs a soft spot to lay on and appears to be perfectly content sharing her surroundings with her hoppity friends.

Love At First Sight

Source: GallowBoob / Reddit

Here, we have two of the most loyal breeds of dog known to mankind. This retriever mix makes for a wonderful family dog who is both smart and loving, while the dalmatian is famous for being that dog that hung out on top of fire engines to protect the firemen as they battled fires way back in the day. With these points is mind, it is easy to see why they would bond to such a level and clearly show just how powerful love between dogs can be. And at the end of the day, they are just cool breeds to hang out with!

Are You Going to Corral Us Today?

Source: bardoskar / Reddit

Ah, the life of a herding dog! You get to run around all day in a wide open field, chasing down stray cattle. It’s like winning the canine lottery if we’re honest. But what many might not realize is that, beyond all that running and corralling, these two species actually develop a kind and caring relationship. Wouldn’t you have to become friends with the coworkers you’re around all day long? In the end, these cattle have clearly developed an affection for their herding dog. They might sense that his number one priority is to take care of them, and isn’t that worth a little kiss from time to time?

Now That’s Different!

Source: _bajablast / Reddit

Okay, everybody love kittens, right? They are tiny, furry, cute and cuddly. But can we say the same about lizards? They are tough and scaly with many pointy edges and very rough skin. It would be hard to classify them as “cute and cuddly.” With that said, there is something cool about lizards. And they do seem affectionate and don’t mind hanging out on your shoulder if you dare. And that’s clearly the case with this little scaly guy who has found himself a very soft, warm, and cozy spot to spend his afternoon. And the kitten doesn’t seem to mind it one bit.

The Perfect Headrest

Source: firewoodisland / Reddit

It’s hard not to have a soft spot in your heart for turtles. With their cool and interesting shells, their slow and lumbering pace of travel, and their apparent desire to show affection, there is just something about them. It’s evident that this house cat and the family turtle have bonded and become quite comfortable with each other, so much so that they have found a way to connect and cuddle in the most intimate of ways. This little turtle clearly makes the perfect headrest for the cat and he seems to just love it!

How Did You Get in Here?

Source: GallowBoob / Reddit

While it is true that cats are den animals and prefer to be in confined and protected spaces, this cat is taking things to a new level. Somehow, he managed to make his way into the turtle enclosure. It’s not clear just how he did it, but he did it. And once there, he made himself comfortable under the warming light. It wasn’t long before the turtle, a species that may be as curious as cats are, investigated his new roommate and found that, not only was he safe and friendly, but that he makes for a wonderful pillow!

The Muzzle Rub

Source: pawsplanet.me

I’m not sure which is cooler; the fact that this dog is standing on his hind legs so he can rub the muzzle of his tall friend, but that he’s got the greatest expression as he turns around to face the camera. It’s almost like he’s saying, “Isn’t this the coolest thing ever!” From the look of this photo, these two probably partake in this activity every day and the horse loves it just as much as the dog! From what I understand, horses like to have companions of other species to hang out with in their stables, and this horse has clearly found the best companion of all!

The Hitchhiker

Source: FireveryGirls / Reddit

Now this little guy is living the life! He’s managed to find himself a very comfortable spot on top of his furry friend where he never has to wander alone and has a wonderful view to boot! This is just another example of the magic of Labrador retrievers. They are not only an incredible hunting dog, but they are almost human like in their intelligence and their compassion. These two have probably been together from their early days and they most certainly have put a lot of miles together!

The Odd Couple

Source: Billybong91 / Reddit

The fox and the pooch, quite an unusual pairing to be sure. Foxes are a very interesting and expressive creatures. They love to run around and make the cutest little sounds as they communicate with those around them. They also seem to have a smile on their face when panting, much like the little guy in this photo. The dog here seems more than happy to cuddle with his energetic little buddy and it’s probably not a stretch to believe that they are in this particular position on the regular!

Love At First Sight

Source: ventronix42 / Reddit

Now, as much as these photos are always so darn adorable, and as much as I would like to believe that these two are bound at the hip and completely infatuated with each other, there is nothing that anyone will ever be able to convince me that this pairing might one day end up in a bad place, due to the fact that cheetahs, no matter how domesticated one might believe they are, are still, and always will be, wild animals.  So at the end of the day, while I hope that these two will remain bosom buddies for many years to come, I am still a bit uneasy at seeing them together.

The Headrest

Source: KevlarYarmulke / Reddit

Now this is simply a thing of beauty. Deer, by nature, are incredibly paranoid creatures. They have to be to avoid becoming lunch for some enterprising enemy out in the wild. But every once in a while, you’ll run into a deer like this one who, probably due to the owner of the housed feeding him, has gotten comfortable enough to become a regular visitor to the porch where he has bonded with another regular porch dweller, the house cat. It this doesn’t make your day, then there may just be something wrong with you!

Quite the Pair

Source: SheldrickTrust / Twitter

Now, I didn’t see this one coming whatsoever! Who in the heck would ever think that you can put together a baby elephant and an ostrich and they would become bosom buddies? But that’s exactly what we have here. First off, how strong is the ostrich that it can take the weight of an elephant using him for a pillow? I know it’s a baby elephant, but it is still an elephant! I imagine it took these two a good bit of time to really bond in order to get into this position. I always thought that the ostrich would be a bit too skittish for something like this, but evidently not. They actually make quite the pair!

Talk About a Mismatch

Source: kennedynewsandmedia.co.uk

In looking at this photo, not only are these to a mismatch because they are two completely different breeds of animals, but they are also quite different in their abilities as well, specifically, one is slow, lumbering and clumsy while the other is, well, I’ll say it, as quick and agile as a fox! It’s also a bit interesting to notice that the dog is NOT leashed up while the fox IS leashed up. I’m going to chalk that up to the fox still have the genetics of a wild animal that, while slightly domesticated, it’s not as trainable as that mutt and would probably run off into those woods the moment it had the opportunity!

The Protector

Source: ingoundelse.de

I simply adore this photo a few reasons. Of course, we have the whole completely different breed thing, but there’s so much more. There is the protective stance this giant German Shepherd has over this baby owl, keeping it safe from all possible predators. There is the irony that German Shepherds can be one of the most violent breeds out there and are often used by law enforcement to corral criminals, yet this guy looks like a complete softy. And of course he actually looks like he is giving his feathered friend a bit of a hug! What could be better?

I Love You

Source: Berit Helberg / Facebook

Now this has to be a case of love at first sight for theses two! You just have to admit that the fox looks like one of the most cuddly creatures on earth, and this one is no exception. It seems like this fox is joined at the hip of this dog and it makes for one of the coolest visuals there is! Just imagine these two chasing each other around in those woods while slipping, sliding, and wrestling in that beautiful, white snow! And even though that fox is half the size of that shepherd, he looks like he’s right there with him on every level!

Wee!!!

Source: barrybland.typepad.com

Who needs a back yard full of ramps and agility obstacles when you can have your very own elephant? In just these three photos, it looks like these two have just wonderful times together. Once again, we have yet another retriever who are natural water dogs, bread to be able to grab up that water fowl that was just shot down by their master hunter, so this guy is right at home hanging out in the lake with that giant beast. And as smart as those dogs are, the elephant might actually be even smarter, making this a very cool and fun pairing to be sure!

Give Me a Hug Please

Source: anothermag.com

Monkeys have long had the reputation of being humanlike with incredible intelligence and a special ability to care for others, including animals from completely different species like these spectacular white tigers. But make no mistake about it, even though those tigers look so cute and cuddly at the moment, will eventually grow up to be very intimidating creatures. And as gentle as that monkey appears, he’s also strong as an ox with his own incredible capabilities. But at least for the moment, these three make a simply adorable trio!

No, It’s My Remote Control!

Source: theguardian.com

Here, once again, we have another combination of a baby owl and a big dog working as her protector and her giant pal! I just didn’t realize that there were so many people who owned owls as pets, and I just love that! And why not, they are such a beautiful little creatures, soft and fluffy, and of course as smart as a whip! If this were a contest, I’m giving it to the baby owl, simply because she’s got that little beak which is really a perfect tool to press those tiny remote control buttons.

Don’t Ignore Me!

Source: spiegel.de

That looks like maybe a bit of a Jack Russel Mix or something to that effect, and he’s a greedy little guy, greedy for attention from his very unique friend, a very adorable baby bore! Now, I have to admit that, at first, I really had no idea what that thing was? Was it a pig, was it a rodent of some kind? It wasn’t until Google came to my rescue, showing me that it was actually a baby bore! While they are not the most attractive animals as adults, they are pretty cute as babies! And it’s obvious that he sees that little Jack Russel as more of a nuisance than a friend.

Give Me a Kiss

Source: thehumorous.com

You just know that that cat hangs out on that fence every single day, and those farm animals just love him for it. Cats, by nature, are just incredibly curious and also cautious at the same time, so they will get themselves in places that are usually high in the air where they can observe their surroundings and learn about their environment while maintaining the ability to escape in the case of danger. This particular kitty is in the perfect spot where he can see all the farm animals from above while still being able to nuzzle with them. A win, win for everyone!

Sound Asleep

Source: shimejiwasabi / Instagram

It’s interesting that the majority of dogs in this article are some type of either a Golden Retriever or a Labrador Retriever, and that’s for good reason. These breeds are of the friendliest, kindest, smartest, and most patient of all breeds on planet earth. They live to be by their master’s side at all times and have the disposition of a saint! And this example is no different with what appears to be a beautiful Golden Retriever making sure that his tiny little friend, that little kitten is about the size of this big dog’s ear and no more, is both safe and warm!

Unique Pair

Source: Mia Foundation / Facebook

Now, if you’re not familiar, pigeons have a bit of a contradictory reputation. While they are known to be as dumb as a bag of hammers and basically rats with wings, they are also highly trainable with the ability to find their way back home from miles and miles away. What they are not known for is being cuddly house pets, but this particular pigeon may be putting that reputation to rest with his little canine companion. It’s obvious that that tiny pooch has mad love in his little heart for that bird, and how can anyone be mad at that?

Conked Out!

Source: gmwdrumbum / Reddit

Now there is taking a casual nap, and there is being conked out, and these two are definitely conked out! Now of course we don’t know what has led to this very odd pairing, but it’s a pretty good bet that this duck was abandoned as a young duckling and has since imprinted on the household pooch as its parent. And domesticated dogs, being what they are, just love the idea of a close connection like this one. I’m sure he’s perfectly happy having his little feathered friend follow him around all day and plopping down next to him when it’s nap time!

Till Death Do Us Part

Source: Kurdista / Reddit

Here’s yet another pairing of a cheetah and a pooch, and isn’t it just cool? I know, earlier in this article I expressed my concern about pairing up wild animals with domestic dogs, but it is still a fantastic visual! I’d love to see these two chasing each other around that backyard, or fetching a ball at the speed of light. And what would feeding time look like for that cheetah? I know that dog will be getting a bowl full of “Dog Chow,” but I imagine that that cheetah will undoubtedly be chowing down on a giant slab of raw meat like a boss!

Please Don’t Eat Me

Source: Vincent_Penning / Reddit

Something is wrong with this picture. Isn’t the big furry thing supposed to be chasing the little furry thing around the house? Or maybe they are just in the middle of taking a break after a long chaser earlier in the day? This reminds me of those old Tom and Jerry cartoons where Jerry the mouse would run Tom the cat ragged as he scampered all over the house. And no matter what he did, Jerry the mouse ALWAYS got away and Tom the cat always ended up with something heavy landing on his head. In between chases, they could sometimes be relaxing together just like in this photo!

Give Us a Kiss

Source: shubhjain199/Reddit

While there are many unusual pairings on this list, this may take the cake! First off, take a look at the lower right of the photo. If you said, “OMG, that is a rattler,” you’d be 100 percent correct. For some particular reason, this pooch has decided it would be a good idea to lick the face of a rattlesnake! It’s obvious that this retriever has no idea that he is at risk of getting bitten and injected with poison at any moment! Maybe he has a particular sense that tells him that this rattlesnake does not see him as a threat and that it’s perfectly safe to give him a little smooch on the head!

I Feel You

Source: mignonettetakespictures/Facebook

Now, can you get any cuddlier than this? Clearly, these two have developed a very special bond. I’m not sure if this is an actual herding dog used to keep cattle like this one in line, but I’m going to speculate that he is, which might explain why they are so close. They have probably spent many hours together out on the farm with the cow wandering around, looking for grass to eat, and the dog continuously having to corral him back into the herd of other cattle so he doesn’t get lost. Whatever the case, they are quite the cuddly pair!

Odd Predator Couple

Source: Sergey Uryadnikov / Shutterstock

If you were out in the wild, and you saw this pair slowly making their way in your direction, it’s pretty safe to say that you are screwed. While both the bear and the coyote are renown for their beauty and grace, they are also well recognized as two of the fiercest hunters in the wild. This is especially true if they are moms and have their litters in tow! What’s worse for you is that, as far as that bear is concerned, there is simply no place for your to hide as he is as comfortable following your up a tree as he is running you down on the ground.

Help Me Out Homie!

Source: amnos-for-dream/tumblr

Talk about being stuck! This little kitty initially believed that he had the hops to be able to make it to the top of the fence, but unfortunately for this feline, he came up just short. To make matters worse, that horse, in an effort to investigate what all the drama is about, is blocking his assent with that giant muzzle, leading the cat to remain stuck between a rock and a hard place, or a muzzle and the fence post! Now of course cats are one of the most skillful and agile creatures on earth and it’s probably the case that this guy made it to the top right after this photo was taken.

The Lineup

Source: lnfinity00/imgur

Now I’ve actually owned both cockatiels and parakeets, and they are as smart and affectionate as they are beautiful. They absolutely love to buzz around and chirp to their hearts content as they sit on your shoulder. They will even nibble on your earlobe and give you little kisses on the cheek, so this photo comes as no surprise to see a whole group of these feathered treasures perched on the legs of this very patient, and dare I say content, Golden Retriever! And oddly enough, even those grey Finches, a bird that is notoriously skittish, have gotten in on the act!

Beauty and the Beast

Source: neselo77/imgur

Maybe it’s just me, but the first thought that comes to mind is that it wouldn’t take that gigantic Presa Canario more than two seconds to snatch up that tiny fawn as an appetizer before dinner. But that’s why dogs in general are just so much more special than their average counterpart like the wolf, they are caring and have restraint. This massive pooch clearly understands his power and capabilities, and he also recognizes the vulnerability of the fawn, so rather than attack, he reaches down with his giant muzzle and makes a new friend!

Lights Out

Source: Outrageous-Design628/Reddit

Now I don’t know about you, but I really have no idea how this happened? These two are two completely different breeds of course, and it’s a bit rare to see a pony actually laying down like this, but it just baffles me just how this dog managed to not only manage to climb on top of the little donkey, but one also has to wonder how he could fall asleep in such a position. And we have to applaud the patience of the donkey as well because that dog is completely laid out over his entire body and the donkey is doing everything he can not to make a move and disturb his sleeping companion.
