If you have walked into a department store recently, you may have noticed how some of the clothing reminds you of when you were a kid. Geometric Shapes… Everywhere.
When it comes to making a room pop, one of the best ways to do that in the 90s was to add some geometric shapes. Whether it was paintings or unique shelving, using simple forms in bright shades was an easy way to make everything else stand out. Even just one bold statement piece could bring a room together, especially if the rest of the room is decorated in muted colors. Take this interesting bookshelf, for example; the unique angles and shapes work well against the overall white tones of the room and are a nice contrast to the blue curtains.
