Housekeepers don’t get a lot of credit for the work they do. Underappreciated and underpaid, you wouldn’t believe what they witness. Hotels are mini-purgatories, with people from all walks of life coming and going … and leaving behind things. Here are some of the most outrageous stories shared by the housekeepers who had to clean up after these awful people at the end of the day. Be aware that some of these situations are gross and nauseating, so if you have a weak stomach, you may want to skip a few.

50. Being Afraid Of A Needle For Legitimate Reasons

It’s a good thing this housekeeper’s supervisor cared enough to take them to the hospital. That needle jab could have ended an entirely different way in any other circumstances. Thankfully, this wasn’t the result of someone being careless or inconsiderate, and there was no harm in the end. But maybe next time, this kid’s parent should exercise more caution in cleaning up after their kid so that other people like this housekeeper don’t have to endure another health scare. Although a strange scenario, what else could the sister have done? Being only a housekeeper, it’s not really her job to take care of other people, but the humane side of her should have probably stayed with this poor woman.
