Antique items make some of the best decorations out there! If you happen to have an antique item that seems like it’s in disarray, you’re in luck. You can revamp that piece and easily incorporate it into modern home decor to blend in with other furniture items and act as a statement piece. Antique items look great when blended with modern furniture; the two eras can balance each other.

Modern chairs pair well with a rustic, vintage table! If you have a vintage dining table collecting dust in your basement, it’s time to bring it upstairs, clean it up, and put it to good use. Antique wooden dining tables are oftentimes made of durable quality. There’s a reason it’s still around! You’ll have superior craftsmanship and intricate designs that you wouldn’t get with a modern table. You’ll clean it, sand it, and finish it with wax.

If you don’t want to store clothes in your bedroom, use it as a bathroom vanity with a modern sink. This will take a little more work, but using an antique dresser as a vanity is a unique, chic way to add pizzazz to your bathroom.
