Night cream helps to prevent wrinkles and keep your skin soft and supple for a long time. Here’s what you need to make your own: a glass jar, 41 grams or 3 Tbs sweet almond oil, 13 grams or 1 Tbs rosehip seed oil or evening primrose oil, 5 grams or ½ Tbs cocoa butter wafers, 5 grams or ½ Tbs beeswax pellets, ¼ tsp vitamin E Oil, 25 drops lemon essential oil, 12 drops geranium essential oil, 5 drops carrot seed essential Oil, and ¼ cup water or floral hydrosol.

30. Teeth Whitening

There are a lot of expensive teeth whitening kits out there, as well as special brands of toothpaste that will promise to lighten several shades over time. But in reality, you can make a simple DIY recipe to lighten your teeth at home. All you need is 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, peppermint essential oil, and a small storage container. You’ll need 1 tablespoon powdered shikakai, 1 tablespoon powdered reetha, 3/4 tablespoon powdered amla, 1/2 tablespoon neem powder, 1/4 tablespoon ground cinnamon, a fresh sprig of rosemary, a few drops essential oils of your choice, and about 3 cups water to reconstitute and cool off. 26. Avocado Butter Shampoo Bars

If you shop at Lush, you’ve already seen shampoo bars. They lather really well, and last a lot longer than shampoo in the bottle. In order to make them, you’ll need 10 oz (283 g) water, 4.25 oz (120 g) sodium hydroxide (lye), 8 oz (227 g) coconut oil, 3 oz (85 g) avocado butter, 3 oz (85 g) shea butter, 4 oz (113 g), castor oil, 8 oz (227 g) olive oil, 5 oz (142 g) rice bran oil, and 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemongrass essential oil. Solid perfume isn’t as popular nowadays as it was in the past, but it’s still a really useful thing to have. You can make a DIY version of any scent you like. 20. Homemade Banana Face Mask

Face masks help to hydrate and heal your skin. They stay on for about an hour before you wash them off, but they work like a charm. In order to make this DIY banana face mask, you need: 2 tsp. coconut oil, 1 egg white, ½ banana, Cinnamon (optional), Honey (optional), Avocado (optional), and a 4 oz. mason jar.
