19. The Catskills A Frame

This A-Frame in Hancock, New York was fully restored from a 1964 built cabin. It’s located in the Catskills Mountains with views of a lake. There is a forest and stream in the backyard of the ¼ acre. One of the best features of this AirBnB is that they accept dogs! So you and your furry friend can enjoy hiking in the mountains together while relaxing in peace and tranquility. With 3 bedrooms, the house can fit up to 6 guests comfortably.

This AirBnB has a 4.75 rating out of 89 reviews. Former guests have pointed out that while the AirBnB itself is very idyllic and beautiful, the surrounding area is not. There’s not much to do in town, and it’s not located nearby any major attractions. However, if you’re looking for a place to get some relaxation away from it all, this could still be a good option for you.

18. Red A Frame

This beautiful A frame cabin is located in Hood River, Oregon, just a few miles away from the downtown shopping district and waterfront. The property has views of both Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. It’s very close to wineries and breweries, as well as a famous biking spot called Post Canyon. The closest airport to this AirBnB is Portland, which is 45 minutes away. One of the potential downsides is that they do not have air conditioning throughout the entire cabin. There is just a box unit in the upstairs bedroom. However, that doesn’t seem to spoil people’s trips and it isn’t a very hot location.

Out of 106 reviews, this scored at 4.97. A guest named Esther had this to say: “The A-Frame is perfectly charming, peaceful, and comfortable. It is located only less than 10 min from town yet feels removed in the best way. The attention to detail and aesthetics is well appreciated, and what a bonus to have hens and a bunny to pet! Would absolutely recommend to book with these marvelous hosts who provides convenient check in/out info and has wonderful communication.”

17. Lilla Norr A Frame

Built in 1978, Lila Norr or “Little North” is a cabin situated on 5 acres of woodland along the Snake River. Located in Brook Park, Minnesota, this is a forest getaway that’s far away from it all. It takes at least 20 to 40 minutes to drive to any sort of hiking trails or sight-seeing destination. You’ll also be driving on gravel roads to get to the cabin. So if you’re going in the winter time, you may want to drive a 4WD/AWD vehicle.

One of the potential downsides to this cabin is that they don’t accept babies, children, or pets. So it’s really just for an adult getaway. Beautifully updated a frame in a quiet and private location. Deer pass through the yard at dusk every evening. Just over an hour from the metro area makes it an easy drive to an amazing getaway.”
