No, not like Graceland. Memphis Style refers to the bold colors and shapes that were widely popular in the 1980s. It is an updated version of the Mid-century Modern style that has been flourishing over the last decade, but it slowly starting to lose some popularity. The straight lines and secondary colors of Mid-century are replaced by the soft, bold shapes and primary colors of Memphis style. Look for bright splashes of primary colors, round lines in furniture and art, and overall slightly 80s feeling pieces to start making a huge comeback.
