16. Don’t Be Afraid to Use Non Kitchen Organization Items
When most people go to the store to buy organizational items for their home makeover, they stick to the aisles that match whatever room they are currently working on. For example, if they can’t find what they need in the kitchen organization aisle of the store, they give up and shop somewhere else or buy online. In reality, you can use organizational items from any aisle in the department in the store, and use them for whatever works in your house. For example, I organized my art supply collection with containers that were originally meant for a makeup vanity or bathroom. You can even check Dollar Tree for organizational boxes.

In fact, this might be possible for you to reuse organizational items you already have around the house. There may be baskets, plastic storage bins, jars, or containers somewhere filled with items that could easily be donated or put elsewhere. For example, I have a decorative wooden box in my bedroom that I used for my tarot card collection, but it would be better served as a recipe box. Don’t be afraid to shop at a thrift store, either. It doesn’t matter how the previous owner used the items differently, so long as it suits the purpose of what you’re looking for.
