22. Floating Shelves
In a small bedroom, funding space to store your items is a huge issue. Without a lot of floor space or closet depth, your only option is probably to go upwards. This is were floating shelves come in. You can buy floating shelves and brackets from any hardware store like Home Depot, Lowes card. They also sell these supplies at places like Target, Walmart, and Amazon. For roughly $10 per shelf, you should be able to create several shelves on the wall to store your objects. This can be a great place for you to put your books, knickknacks, or plants.

When I was a kid, my brother and I shared the smallest bedroom in the house while my dad renovated the rest of the home. They hung a large floating bookshelf along the perimeter of the ceiling. This contains our collection of childhood books that we were given by family, friends, and inherited from neighbors. It was important to my parents for us to have books to read. But we didn’t have a lot of space for it in the bedroom. The shelf was very sturdy, and it is still there to this day.
